No one can hear you in space

Astrophobia, or the fear of stars and outer space, is a profound anxiety that can captivate one's imagination with the vast, unexplored expanses of the universe. It's a reminder of our place in the cosmos, evoking feelings of awe and sometimes fear. Through understanding, we can transform fear into fascination, embracing the mysteries of the universe as opportunities for discovery and wonder.

Understanding Astrophobia

Let's say that you died year 2078 and your last wish was to be cremated. But your family thought that the idea of sending you to space was so good that they put your ashes into a satellite heading towards intersteller space. Now you, without knowing it, drift endlessly into the great cosmos. The ashes that once used to be 'you' going to places never visited by others prior to yourself. And even when the satellite stops working you keep drifting further into the depths of nothingness, to not even be live enough to feel fear, to not be alive at all. A sad pot of dust going to explore places without exploring them.

Imagine what it felt like the last time you tripped on something. The pain and annoyance you felt over that. Now imagine that your crew that was meant to head towards saturn is dead. You're all alone floating in space without anything being able to save you and ever so slowly you fall into the depths of hell itself. You can't get help, you can't dictate your next moves, you cant tell gravity to stop, you can't do anything at all. The pure fear is the only thing that suspends you in time and space from falling into the the pain of a million normal trips back home.
